I took a week off from blogging, for no particular reason except that I've been a little down. I turned 34 a week ago today, and while I know it's not really old, birthdays always make me stop and take stock of my life, which is the part that gets me down. I meant to blog about that, but I couldn't be bothered. Besides anytime I complain about my personal life, some people get all twisted out of shape on me, so the less personal I keep this, the less I offend it seems.

So I'm back ranting about the less offensive stuff like religious idiots and right-wing nutjobs.

Turning 34 does suck, and I can certainly relate as 35 is coming up fast for me. I imagine it is just going to get harder from here on out. Fortunately, these blogs can be quite cathartic.

Thanks for the commiseration vjack, I think I'm over turning 34 now, but the year leading up to 35, I think I've just got to ignore, otherwise I'll just be depressed for the rest of my life. So I'm trying to hold off the next bout of depression for at least another 11 1/2 months.
