Sorry Dad

Ok, I've recieved criticism by a couple of friends for "picking" on my father.

I want to make it clear that I am in no way picking on him at all. I respect my father and love him dearly. I am not trying to convert him or diminish his beliefs at all. Everyone has the right to their own belief system. It's one of the freedoms in this country that I am willing to defend with my life. I don't want anyone telling me what to believe and I wouldn't be so bold as to do that to another person.

Besides, I could be wrong. I'm willing to stake my own soul on my beliefs, but I'd feel horrible if my Dad burned in Hell because I talked him out of believing in God! ;)

Anyway, it's a topic that comes up every now and then, and I think he enjoys the banter.
