Stupid Religious Icons

I started creating a gallery of Stupid Religious Icons, you know things like images of Mary in the underpass, or on the grilled cheese, or on water stains in hospital windows, but while I was working on it I decided to look around and see what else was out there.

Well, I was both happy and dissapointed to see that there are plenty of resources for this kind of thing.

The BBC has a Slideshow of religious faces found in various things

The Museum of Hoaxes has a Religious Category

I'm sure there are others, although I haven't found a single consolidated gallery of this type of thing. So I'm a little dissuaded to continue, but thought I'd throw the question out to my readers.

Would you be interested in a consolidated site of Stupid Religious Icons? Please feel free to comment.

I just ran accross this while doing some research for a Gallery of Stupid Religious Icons, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing!

Remember the Grilled Cheese Mary that Golden Palace bought for $28,000.00? Well, less than a month ago, the same woman put the alleged frying pan that she used to cook said sandwich up for sale on EBay, with a starting bid of $5,999.99!

I am putting up for Auction the one and only Holy Pan. This was the Holy Pan that the Virgin Mary Grilled Cheese Sandwich was made from 10 years ago. I've been to the Hard Rock in Hollywood Florida and Las Vegas Where the Virgin Mary Grilled Cheese Sandwich was put on display for the World to see and I have witnessed people who would become Dizzy, Cry, and Pray to her or just wanted to touch Me, because she came to me 10 years ago. I have talked Prayed and just listened to people's problems but they all leave there with the Virgin Mary Grilled Cheese Sandwich touching them in their own little way. She has forever changed my Life and the lives that have come in Contact with Her. Now its time for the Official Holy Pan to touch everyones LIFE.
